OUR MISSION UPDATES

"To:
King's Addition Baptist Church, and Supporters of King' Addition Baptist Mission,
Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, Canada,

May 7, 2010

Dear Brethren,

The month of April has been incredibly busy, physically demanding, and yet extremely
spiritually rewarding.

Just in this last month, through visits to preach and present the work, we have
picked up at least four churches in support of the work. I know that God knew that
we need the support to sustain us, both now, and for the tasks and opportunities
ahead.

We are still focused, and more excited than ever at the prospects of the work in
Canada growing, not just in numbers, but in substance of the faithful brethren that
are in place already.

We appreciate the support, prayers and encouragement of all involved in the work in
Canada, and I understand the frustration of those that ask why we are not there yet,
but I reiterate to you all, that we are doing everything 'humanly possible' to bring
this to pass, while at the same time knowing and trusting that, while it doesn't
make sense to us, that it does to God, and that we trust that He is in control.

Again I ask, that if you have any questions, that you not ask someone else, who may
only have some of the facts, but that you contact us for 'up to the minute'
information.

While I was attending the conference at Beverly Manor Baptist Church in Washington,
Illinois, I made contact with a Brother that gave me information for a Brother that
can have the Bible printed in any language for a cost of $700.00.

I have shared this with the brethren in Fort Smith, and we are excited at the
prospects of having a bible printed in the Cree Indian language.

There are also prospects of starting a bible study in Fort Chipewyan, about one
hundred miles from Fort Smith, in a community of about 1100 people. One of the
Mission members, Bro Lawrence Vermillion, lives there.

We are hopeful that the Lord will expedite our move, and continue to seek His will
every day.
